Launch control or no launch control ?
I have an automatic 2016 Camaro SS. I'm taking my car to the track for the first time in a couple of weeks after I get my bolt-ons installed.
So my question is, will the car post a faster time with or without launch control? Also, should the TC be on or off?

My best times were without it, it didn't really work correctly for me anyway. I turned off everything by holding the button down for 10 seconds and ran it in track mode for my best times.

So you held down the TC for 10 seconds?

Yea LC works best on the street. GM is protecting the drive train on a sticky track. On my A10 ZL1 i tried to see what the difference was. Using LC I ran high 11s, with all nannies off and with practice I was consistently running 11.3-4s in the summertime. That is pretty average for stock A10 ZL1s. With just a tune 10s are quite possible.
OP the more seat time you get the faster you will get. Up to a point.

if your on stock type tires, try 2nd gear launch. I ran low 11's like that, full weight on 20" 1.79 60" on a so so track
