Yes you can argue the 1le thing but the original SS Camaro had a big block and the original Z28 a small block.
A10 in the ZL1 1LE? Sign me up.

Neither car comes with the A10 as an option, and it doesnt even fit in the Vette.

Fairest possible is M7 for both.

OK, my bad on missing the A8. Both A 8's then. Manuals are old school like steel wheeled roller skates.

I think it would be fair enough and readily available to run the ZR1 with the available manual transmission versus the 6MT in the ZLE. No A8 needed or A10. Just a better compare with comparable transmission.

Sort of like comparing a drag race between an A10 ZL1 and a 7MT ZR1. The advantage of the 105 hp disappears due to the A10 in the lower powered car. Even with both on drag pack.

Why handicap the cars with old technology when we are living in the new day with awesome automatic transmissions? That A8 in the ZR1 wasn't holding him back any at all.

I’m not really sure why it’s not an option. SMH

I think the reason given was that they were trying to reduce weight on the 1LE as much as they could and the A10 adds a bit over the manual.

If available, my order would have been a ZL1 1LE with a A10. But happy with future M6.

It's not available in the auto trans because of the heritage of the 1LE track package code from it's origin. If it's got an auto it's NOT a 1LE. You can call it a 2LE but not a 1LE.

Just like Corvette’s heritage with round taillights?

Call it 8LE. Just put the damn tranny in there. Besides calipers I don’t see 1LE anywhere else on the car. Talking of calipers... CCBS please. 4 of them.
