I stumbled across this allocation for this car months ago, which had basically just been ordered and it was too late to modify anything. The dealership owner spec'd it himself and it was to be an inventory unit. It so happened that the build was nearly exactly what I would spec, other than MAYBE the paint color. I think black is one of the best colors on the Camaro, but I was hesitant to have black again... due to the maintenance. The salesman informed me of this upcoming build when I had inquired about a car that happened to be another customer's order (sold). So my car was sold before being listed.

I had my 2SS years ago and I really enjoyed that car. Long story short, I ended up with an ordered Charger Hellcat that I had for a few months. I loved that car too, but deep down I missed having a manual transmission and the sports car handling. So here we are, just picked her up on Saturday.I haven't driven it at all since getting it home Sunday lol... as I did wash it (waiting to have time to polish/ceramic coat now), and my zl1 rock guards should arrive early next week.

Yeah black just looks mean, but it's not easy to maintain for sure. I love the Mopar stuff too, but I can see how you miss that manual sports car feel. I'd have to get a Challenger because of the manual trans option.

Good luck and start running though those gears asap!

You're telling me. Winter will be here again before we know it. I've been trying to squeeze hours onto the boat as well.

ZL1 has not been driven/started since bringing it home last weekend. I did get my rock guards installed, and a coat of wax on it though.
