Lots of matte paint or matte wrap cars in LA. Every time I see one I’m thinking, is that just a beater. I can’t tell because they always look old and dirty.

Honestly I can’t get over the watch. It must be symbolism. You know like the old story of a guy who works all his life for a company, and when he retires they give him a gold watch. The ICE Camaro gets retired, you buy one, so it’s adios buddy, and here’s your gold watch….

This is my opinion only, if you’re lusting after this car, I hope you get your hands on one and drive the heck out of it, or get a reinforced glass vacuum chamber so it will look beautiful forever.

That's not really saying much though is it? GM sells every one of their vehicles anyway.

It might be, but in todays world those cars will likely all sell without discount. They might not be what some of us would have done as a send off, but guaranteed there are at least 350 who can afford and are absolutely salivating over getting one. No point in ruining someone’s excitement here.

Yes, but this is nothing more than a toy, it’s not a necessity. Collectors, Commemorative, Final editions are always limited as a means of creating an exclusivity of the units.

Well, my math is not exaggerated. 2024 ZL1 CE built on Chevy's website is 92K. My 2023 ZL1 which has the SAME powertrain, paid 67k for. That's a difference of 25K. 25K to ME is not worth some painted calipers, a wing and some stickers/badges. Those that WANT to pay 25k or MORE on something that is nothing more than cosmetics, feel free! . For those that don't, it doesn't necessarily mean they can't have it, it means the MSRP and markups are stupidly high and not worth it

In 5 years, 25 years, 50 years from now what is your 23 ZL1 going to be worth and what is a CE ZL1 going to be worth? A 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card sold last year for over 12M dollars. Is it worth that? You can't do anything with it, you can't take it to get groceries. Apparently to the right person it is.
