Supercop (from this forum) ordered from Speedway. He should be getting his car next week. I think it was built quite a while ago and he has been waiting for it to be deilvered.

I have not heard anything about the plant stopping production except maybe for a week at the end of the month. I also read on this forum that the plant has increased production and is working Saturdays.

Just F.Y.I., ours was built around May 11 or 12 ( I base this on the VIN, 9294) and was delivered this pass Wednesday night (June 3) to Jim Glover. Either Speedway is getting wrong info from GM or someone at Speedway might be lying or doesn't know what is going on and is making info up.

I'm at 3400 and hoping to get a VIN within the next week. Ordered from Frontier in El Reno at MSRP.

crulgrl - I am so sorry to hear about what your dealer did to you. It's hard enough to wait all this time, but then to find out that you have to start all over is heartbreaking. I wish they had been upfront with you about charging over MSRP. I hope you find another dealer with allocation who will treat you right. At least orders are going through a lot faster now so the wait won't be as long.

This is one awesome car. Definitely worth the wait!

He has a warehouse on the edge of the lot full of OLD restored Camaro's. 405-485-3333. They are in the top 2-3 Dealers IN THE STATE The place is huge. Talk to Corey Tell him your a Camaro5 member, he'll hook you up.
BTW the car is awesome.!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have ordered from Knipplemier before and they do keep their word. I just ordered a 2SS for me and a 2SS for my wife. (May 16) Plus, we've already moved to 3000 on both cars. So far, they've been upfront and easy to deal with.

Good to hear yours came in fonegod.

We took ours to the Tuesday cruise last night. We saw a black one and a red one come thru also, but I do not know if they were a SS or not. It was crowded with cars.
