Change wheel color

Has anyone tried to repowdercoat their ZL1 wheels a different color? Will the heat baking process ruin them? I like the wheels just want to change color and don't want to paint them.

No bueno.

The curing heat will undo the forging ... and lead to wheel failure.

I read that thread when it came out and thought the same but, I keep hearing people have done it. Not willing to chance destroying the wheels. So has anyone repainted the wheels with good results? Not sure any good paint would hold up. Probably end up getting new wheels if I can't decide.

How are your wheels doing? They're painted. As long as they get prepped, then base/clear.
