So, 6+ pages in, I can only assume that we've all come to a consensus that the Camaro that will retain it's value longest will indeed be, the 2017 1LS w/ standard equipment.

Is it true that only some Camaros have a hand-built engine? I was under the impression the 6MT cars are the ones with the PBC plaque. If so, wouldn't this raise the value as well?

Not sure how many have the plaque, but I know alot of the ZL1's have them. I have a 2023 A10 ZL1 with the plaque. Nathan Smith was my engine builder.. My GUESS is, that having the plaque really won't increase the value of the car much, if at all.

Very few modern cars will hold value like they did back in the day. Unless you have some 1-off car, don't worry about it and just enjoy it.

I look at the novelty of the PBC badge and I appreciate the name but it's not hand assembled in that way. I appreciate one person put it together but that's a bit different for me than "hand built". I want to think back we had one of these individuals claim it was a job that was a few hours time.

Otherwise value...ZL1 and on down in the hierarchy with convertibles in there somewhere.

According to KBB, my Camaro with 40K miles trades in for 65% of its original MSRP. I didn't pay MSRP though as I got $5400 off through a combination of employee and GM discounts, so the depreciation cost to me is correspondingly less.

in 67 prefer the L78 396. or even the Z28 302.
