Always read your window sticker before taking delivery

Since I'd already done a ton of research deciding which Camaro build I wanted, I already knew everything that would be on it, so I didn't need to read the window sticker to know what I was getting. Last night, just for the fun of it I did, and saw at the end there are Dealer added options. I knew they'd added the NAV package to the infotainment center (which I was fine with, because I wanted that anyway), but then I saw "Windscreen: $495.00" and Deluxe all-weather floor mats: $155.00." I didn't get either of those, but I clearly paid for them without realizing it! I went back and talked with the dealer today. Since I'd just bought the car last week he didn't have any problem saying he'd order the stuff I didn't get. I don't know how long would have been too late for them to believe me though; I'm just glad I caught it when I did.

Yup, gotta know what you're supposed to get with the car.

When I got my ZL1, I checked over all the crap in the trunk they just tossed in there...the cargo mat was missing...hmmm... they got me a new one right away (probably out of another car) but they made it right.

It's a removable screen for convertibles to block wind when the top is down. Go to this thread and see post #9 for pics. I can't believe GM gets $475 for those. I wouldn't have willingly added one to the purchase.

Oh I see. It's that expensive? Does it help a lot?

The ones that have used it say that it really does make a huge difference, but I don't think the wind is that bad to begin with. Definitely not bad enough that I'd spend that much money to improve on it. Plus, no one can ride in the back seat when you use it.

Expensive, yes, but every aren't ALL official GM accessories overpriced?. And like all GM accessories, you can them aftermarket for nearly half the price.

Love your sig pic, by the way!

Yeah, they seem to take great glee in telling you so much stuff because they know you can't remember all of it.
It took me three weeks to buy my SS.
My wife had a broken foot, so I just couldn't 'run by' like they wanted me to.
Plus, they were 70 miles away.
I would go over the stuff on the website and whatever paperwork the
sales guy gave me on the days i went by.
