Tall deck lsx build anyone?

Just wondering if anyone has done a tall deck lsx build in a fifth gen. What size? Thought about building a tall deck 4.25 stroke 4.185 bore long rod combo. Basically a 467ci. Stuffing a couple big turbos on it and go. Or maybe a big whipple or new maggie heartbeat and have some serious low end grunt. With a small shot of juice. Anyone seen a builds like this out there i can check out.

Auto or manual? My current setup is 700rwhp with 417 with maggie on race gas with auto and 3200 stall. Im looking for much more if i build something new.

The Heartbeat is going to limit you somewhat unless you get a bigger crank pulley. It's a front drive and a 3.2" pulley is your smallest pulley option. I like mine, but feel it's more at home under 700 at the wheel. Much above that and you probably need a bigger blower.

I'd bet it would take some type of spacers/adaptors to mate any top mount supercharger to a tall deck LS motor.

Thats not a problem. I have already designed pulleys and a 10 rib setup for the new heartbeat lsa drive. Whatever combo is needed i can make it. I have already built a 2.7 upper and a 9.73 lower combo. It made 835rwhp and 900+ rwtq on a 417 with a set of lpe ported heads and stage 3 tooley cam with a manual. I was thinking of going for more cubes for the torque. 1000rwtq maybe 850-900rwhp. I would like to run in the nines and be able to run 200 at the texas mile. Maybe need some nitrous later for that.

If you're building a mile car the long stroke isn't the way to go, I'd go 416 with more boost so you can keep the top end.

I think a 427 is the biggest ya want to go if your adding boost. Bigger ci for a naturally aspirated set up.

Nelson always builds big ci twin turbo cars. I thought these lsx blocks were good to 2500hp. Im only looking for around 90-1000 rwhp. Im thinking its going to be a 4.185 bore with 4.000 stroke with the best internals. Callies dragon slayer oliver rods diamond pistons etc. I want 900-1000 lb ft of torque at 3000 -3500 rpm not 5000+ to get this heavy turd out the hole. With 3.73 gear and 3200 stall and my 15 inch 275/60/15 mickey pro x drag radials and skinnies my coilover adjustability it should go pretty good i would think.

I dont have all the answers. I just have a direction i would like to try. I think compression will be around 9.5-9.75. Andy at adm will be doing the build for me when its time. He knows best. I just want something a little different. I love the stump pulling torque of a maggie. So thats what i would like to capitalize on. Heavy cars need torque to get them to move. My 417 maggie combo runs hard. Just not hard enough. But does it ever.

That's spinning that poor TVS 21,600 rpm at 6000 engine rpm. What are you doing to semi control IAT's?

That was adm performance ctsv with the new heartbeat lsa supercharger. He used a huge ice tank/ pump system in the trunk that kept iat's down low. That system works great with the way he designed it. Car was nothing less than amazingly impressive.

Imo with a lot of cubes you need about 11-1cr.That will fall off like a rock about 5500 rpm maybe even sooner.

We will see what andy thinks on that one. Lol. I know its going to be a short deck. Only 440 cubic inches. With trick flows or brodix heads. Plus the lsa drive and the new heartbeat blower. How much compression is your 454lsx H-E. Is it the crate engine with a maggie.
