What would happen with a converter or maybe some shifting changes in the tune? Could that get you over the hump?

If only you had side skirts and a chin splitter, your car would look .03 faster at the starting line...would that help?

Russ, that's a funny ha ha. I ordered the side skirts today cause I think that's the ticket. There is still time this spring, but if I can't do it next weekend it just won't happen till the fall. There is just a lot of heat coming soon. Bring your vert next weekend and I'll run it down the track in trophy so you can get a low 11 second pass on street tires or get youd shit together and get some drag radials coming and letz get that baby in the tens.

I'm going back next Friday night for another try at 9s. I think I will make it happen with Mike tuning it. We did see a couple issue that could have affected the tune plus is didn't hook as it had done on Friday. We will get there for sure. I'm not gonna be defeated.

my drop springs came in, and my car is now on the way to RPM for my roll cage install. So when it comes back I will head on out and see what she runs.

I went back but pushed the front seal out of the crank. I've updated the PCV system and I should be good to go. With the temps on the rise in Missouri I doubt I'll get in the 9's until fall. Just too much heat. Working on getting better intercooler up front and possibly an Ice Box for the trunk to keep my intake temps down when it 90 degrees in June, july and august. Also going with second Meth/water nozzle to help cool the intake temps.

What size meth nozzles are you running, I would add the second nozzle and or run more meth, Ive got another car that I run 100% meth I run it for cooling and additonal fueling as well. I have a catch can/breather on mine just in case but Ive never heard of anyone actually using it. Ive got not meth on my Camaro right now but I will probably add it along with the in trunk ice box as I like to run the 1/2 mile as well and IAT's get up there.

Good luck and keep at it..

I just added a second nozzle, running a 1000cc and a 500cc. I've not run 100 percent yet, water also cools the temps and doesn't evaporate as fast as straight methanol.

Awesome, hard work and some money will get you there. But 16 lb of boost? WOW my maggie is factory 8 lb. i think. It is awesome to see that you can throw the kitchen sink at these bottom ends and they stay together. Impressive.
