Changes on 2019 engine?

I noticed these hoses look completely different on my 2019 ZL1 than my 2018 ZL1? Anyone else notice this or know the reason for the changes? The new hoses are much smaller and much harder.

Probably the exact same lines just without any extra protection?

Interesting. The cover on the wire harness above your hoses is hard plastic on the 2019 and foam on the 2018. Is your 2018 a ZL1 or ZLE? I wonder if the change is for all 2019 ZL1s or if it has always been different for the ZLE?

They were both ZL1-1LE's. The only difference is the 2019 is an A10.

Probably just cost-down ideas. Pretty common in automotive/high volume manf.

I would never have noticed that without my old car.

Urban Legend has two cars he could compare.

The 2019's have a lot of cost cutting from what I've seen. Starting with the no garage door opener....

Yes I have found this one particularly annoying. I have the hard hoses and autozone grade wire loom on my 2019 ZLE also.
