Service rear axle/suspension?

Hey everybody. I have a 2018 ZL1 10 speed with Nav, PDR and sunroof. Hoping maybe somebody else had experienced this and has some insight on what’s going on. Several months ago, I’d occasionally be backing into my garage when all of a sudden it would feel like the power steering went out and I’d get a message saying service rear axle. It happened a few more times and then eventually while heading to work the radio cut out and I got a “service stabilitrak” message. The XM radio screen froze on the band and song that was playing and all my presets were grayed out. The radio continued to play, but I couldn’t see the names or use my preset buttons. It eventually fixed itself after letting the car sit for a couple days. I took the car into the dealer and they said the car threw a bunch of random codes but they couldn’t get the car to recreate the problem. They tried resetting something but said they had no clue if it would help, and that I’d need to bring the car in right after it started acting up. Well, I live 45 minutes from them so that’s not really an option. Anyhow, the car started driving fine for a while until the paddle shifters quit working one day. I took it back in and it turned out some cable was loose. Car drove fine for another while until it started having the service rear axle message again. Just today after a long trip, I was merging on the interstate and when I hit the gas pretty good the radio cut out for a second and it felt like I lost power steering again (which could be quite dangerous in a curve unexpectedly) and the XM radio screen froze again just like last time.

Anybody have any ideas or clues to give the dealer something to go on?

Did your dealer perform these TSBs?

Yeah, the did install the protective sleeve.

I know it is a Pain the Butt, just keep taking it in the dealer. You are building a case for a Lemon Law buyback if it comes to that.

Well, had the day off and took the car to the dealer today. I have good and bad news. Good news, after about 3 hours, they narrowed the problem to a positive cable going to the fuse box that failed. Easy warranty fix. The bad news... I no longer have the ZL1 :(

Traded her in at the dealer down the road for a 19 Arctic White Z06 B)
