Too Quick for what it is....

I recently bought a 2015 2LT Camaro, traded a 01 Ram Air TA in on it. TA was quick but the Camaro is MUCH faster, noticeably faster at least up to 90mph. how can it be? It just rages at WOT honestly its the quickest car I've ever driven point A to B and I've owned some nasty big block Camaros 68 cuda Formula S etc. The throttle is also very sensitive, even the lightest touch it goes 40mph.
There is no performance mods at all done to it. TB is stock etc.
Even if it was tuned I can't believe it could run like this, I'm kind of baffled?

I owned an 89 firebird and spent a lot of time to get it into the 13s. The v6 can get into the 13s without internal mods. It's just a faster car than what we grew up with. Enjoy!

Truly this Camaro makes the 6 4th gens LS1 cars I owned seem like a joke. I live in a hilly area and there is a MT I go over everyday a good 1 mile hard hill. Now the TA went right over it no big sweat but this car fly's over like it doesn't exist. How can this be? The 6 speed auto trans? It blows mind every time I drive because it simply moves so well. ..........EDITED........It also has been averaging 25mpg on regular fuel. We put about 2500 miles on it so far so I know it couldn't something that's just off or temporary. I just wish I knew if it was messed with. I wonder how I could find the original owner.

I would say its easily in the 13's, WOT throttle it just screams the nicest sounding engine sound you ever heard. I'm truly impressed by it, I just never expected it when I bought it. I bought because of the nice looks and it can use regular fuel. I never imagined in my wildest dreams it could beat up the Ram Air TA I was trading in!

ps I'm not far from Easton near the Blue Mt ski area.

Ya there will be more then one....just wait a while. Just so you know if your car has no mods its 14 second plus car. So if it blows your Trans Am away the puts your old ride in the 15 to 16 second range. Do you really believe this as fact? Your butt dyno needs to prove itself against another car to see how accurate it is. Let me check the v6 modded fast list. You may have mods you don't know about. Like a super charger. You should post a pic of the engine bay. The keen eyes of Camaro 5 may see something you don't.

Old Rotten Tammy is always ragging of the V6 guys and the days too short to psychoanalyze why. Just hit your big ignore button and enjoy the car.
