Next-gen Speed Sequential LED Tail Lights

Looked around the forums and couldn't find any posts on them (I actually think they were just recently released). Does anyone have these tail lights? I want to try them out next spring, but want to hear if anyone has experience with them/any problems. The tail lights have a LED sequential turn signal and LED brake and reverse lights. They remind me a bit of the new Audi style turn signal you see on the A4. I am not sure if these come with a resistor for the LED reverse and turn signal to prevent hyper-flashing, but I would assume they do (or it is built in). What do you guys think of these tail lights?

I did an install and did a video on my cell to show what they do but I have no way of posting or embedding it unless someone has knows of a trick, but they look good but I don't like the way they operate.

Next-gen Speed Sequential LED Tail Lights

Going back to my GM dark tails. Taking these off sometime this winter. Car is in hibernation...just haven’t gotten around to removing them.

Also, old new. Threads on these from last spring

Why are you going back to the GM dark tails? In one of the videos I saw it looked like the running light was reflecting off of different parts of the tail light housing, making the light look a bit blurry and not as solid from a distance. Would you say the GM dark tail lights have less reflection inside the housing than these?

Are these the same ones from this thread?

I liked how they looked, but they seemed to have a hyperflashing/incompatibility issues

I did post a video on YouTube on how they look, if you find a video with a red 17 SS then that's my SS.

Thanks! Did you need to add a resistor to the circuit?

The issue with those tails, and possibly all of the others like them is that the signals come on when you hit the brakes. I think there is only one of them and they are being sold by multiple vendors. You can find them with amber or red signals. You can see it in the video above when he hits the brake to start the car. Both of the signals come on then off before the brake lights. That happens every time you hit the brakes.

Straight out of the box, they have the resistors attached in the back (50W 7.5 Ohms)

There was a guy on the FB group that has them and I asked him to check and see if they did the same thing. He said they do not. I like the look of these better though. Maybe they will come up with a fix.

I bought these and returned them. Bought the GM dark taillights, better quality and no stupid fuctions.

I was told by The Retrofit Source to contact JP customs, they may be able to fix these things.

I know some of them have a switch to turn off the sequential, can you turn it off/on with these?

Also really hate the signals flashing when you hit the brakes.
