2 piece rotor to 1 piece...

Since my 1LE is a DD, I was wondering if it would be ok to swap out the two piece rotors and pads for a one piece rotor?

I'm thinking of using the 2 piece for track days only, and try to save them from the DD...kind of like having two sets of wheels with track tires and all season tires...well at least less expensive tires.

Any suggestions/advice/ideas is appreciated.

There is absolutely no benefit to doing this at all. Sure you can change the pads to something like the Powerstop Z26 pads for DD use which is what many of us have done, but there is no reason to swap the rotors out. DD use will have very negligible effect on the rotors.
