CAN Bus IDs for telemetry
Does anyone know of a list of CAN bus ID numbers and offsets for your typical telemetry information?
I have an Autosport Labs Racecapture Track MK2 that I want to use with solostorm for autocross. My previous car was an S2000 that has a preset loaded for everything, but the only preset I found for the Camaro is a generic LS engine one. So I have all of the engine data and throttle working, but I was missing brake and steering. I managed to find a script that could rip out 100 of the who knows how many channels and display them, and I got lucky to find what looks to be the brake pedal ID on 241 with an offset of 1. So now I just have the steering ID to find, which did not show up using that method. I know it is in there, I just don't know how to find it. If nobody knows the actual number, does anyone know of another way to monitor ID channels to find it? Thanks everyone! |

Yeah that is what I was afraid of. Any ideas where I can go to find out? Think it matches with the corvettes? Or maybe a better way to real time monitor channels to find it myself?

personally i hate Canbus its used in industrial machines and every one I ever work on its a problem and I end up working on it as much as I hate it. I got pretty good an AB Device net which we just replace with Ethernet as fast as possible. You would be shocked on how little its know or written on trouble shooting Device net.
CanbusC in cars is somewhat a black art as well I find little to anything on it just reading the internets. just putting an amp in a car seems to be a mystery. Worse thing every put on a modern car and down right dangerous IMHO. |
