Maggie+E85+stock fuel system
What are my options ?
Would a meth kit make this possible ?

I suppose it would depend on your goal. How much power do you want to make? What is your objective?
With your current setup, you are probably maxing out (or getting very close to maxing our your low side fuel pump, right? E85 would require the ability to flow an additional 20% fuel at the same boost level.

No...you need LT4 injectors, lt4 hpfp, zl1 low side with bap, then You can run 8psi or so on e60. I would not use meth injection for supplemental fueling.

I'm currently running a Maggie with 95mm pulley on stock fuel system, no E. I have Ted J's blower cam kit, LT4HPFP & injectors and BAP on the shelf, ready to install over my Christmas break. We are starting with an 85mm pulley, which, according to the extensive research done by Drsag should provide ~8psi. I'm hoping to be able to pull up to any E85 pump and fill 'er up without worrying about the ethanol percentage. I will mix if needed, but am hoping to have enough headroom that I don't have to worry about it. Is this just wishful thinking, I wonder?

Thanks for the info about E85 requiring 20% more flow. I think Kinglt1 mentioned that a few months back actually

Actually, I've already wasted a crap load of time! I have had all parts on the shelf for several months. Ted probably thinks that I got run over by a bus since I haven't called to start tuning yet lol!

I need to go back and check, but I think I was running e75 or so with 8-10psi. You aren't going to have any problems at 8psi...the first thing to run out was the low side pump (then I added the BAP)...which moved the bottleneck to the injector. For winter, I have dropped back to 10psi about 730whp only because I may fill with 93 octane until I start driving again.

[QUOTE=KingLT1;10378936]E60 won't be a problem as it's been documented and proven. Above that you may be still ok depending on the percentage of E at your local pumps. Around here I see consistent E78. I am going to see what mine does on E78 @ 8psi with LT4 injectors, LPE big bore, ZL1 tank/JMS BAP, stock
I'm thinking, based primarily on drsag's data that I'll be good at E-seventysomething at 8 psi. I haven't seen any reports of E content greater than high seventies. I'm hoping that I still have enough headroom in the 70's to still be safe in the unlikely event that I get a tank of full-up E85

I recommend upgrading the fuel system and then decide if you want to get a cam too. For me, the cam adds a bunch of strengthened parts and that is also the best time to think about forged options for cam, pistons and ARP studs. The question will be, is 700whp enough or are you going higher, if 700whp is enough, you can skip forging as long as the tune is right on. . .I added the pistons and decided I wanted 800whp and came up just short with e70. On my build, I feel like that was my only mistake so far. Instead of drop in pistons, I should have added pistons, rods and studs at the same time. Now I may get back into the motor to do what I should have done the first time. I think I am running completely safe at 12 PSI, but just like the peace of mind in case I want to push just a little more. On the other hand, for my goal, I wanted to have a car that is completely street driven and by adding tires can go to the track and run 9's (with a convertible that can get 20mpg and cruise around with the AC on in 100 degree temps).

The cam and headers lowered the boost level by 2-3psi comparing my car and Laynlo's ride before he went to the dark side. The cam also has the bigger fuel lobe which is why I considered a cam part of my fuel upgrade.

Why? With the Maggie, there is nothing to see related to boost. Bottom line is, unless the belt is slipping, boost is maxed when you smash the throttle and stays there until you let go. That means the boost gauge is pretty useless. I need to get a new gauge ordered to swap it out.
