I thought you worked for Rotofab. You have 64 posts on this site and 50 of them are in this thread.

I don't think it's a scam. But I do wish they had gone about this in a better way. I'm still waiting to see what happens, hoping that they will come out with a CARB legal intake. I don't want to have to swap it out for emission testing.

I'm old, time flies.
This intake will probably be out before I'm ready to modify my car anyway. I still have plenty of warranty time left, and I'm more interested in long tube headers before an intake. More power and better sound with headers than any "CAI" kit.

I'm interested. Just hoping the price point is right.

In all seriousness folks, is there a viable intake alternative to roto-fab since they are unable to conduct business? I need to replace my air filter and before I go back to the stock setup, is there a serious aftermarket dry intake out there? I"m not going to hack the bottom out of the airbox and I'm not going to do that GM CAI thing. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

The rotofab seems to be the best one out. It's well made makes power.

There's a thread where Rotofab has dyno sheets from third party tuners/performance shops of before and after runs of stock intake vs Rotofab on a number of cars. The Rotofab is good for like 10-14hp on a stock car and a little more on modded/blown cars.

Why would anyone go with the Rotofab when the Varararam is a much better choice as its cheaper and offers more power. |

Ordered Vorshlag Camber plates today. They had a reasonably short wind up and then released this week. I don't know what to think of this Varararam vaporware.
