That's a messy way and still no ability to check the level.

Also a note - The factory pumps have a load sensing device in them that can tell if there is proper coolant flow going through them,if by chance you do not have proper amount of fluid or air in the system the pump will sense this and shut down. The intercooler pump does not turn on until the car has been running 10 sec(factory tune) and is at operating temps,IT IS ALSO A SOFT START UP.

It is very important that you verify flow once you finish installing the upgraded reservoir.

easy enough...I should have mine today. That looks like the reservoir included with the aftermarket superchargers like the Edelbrock E-force.

Mine arrived today and I plan to install the unit tomorrow. It should be very easy and the above pic is a huge help.

It's a Magnuson reservoir. I plan on putting this reservoir on my E-Force for the exact same reasons ADM is doing it for their LT4 supercharger setup.

How about one more pic of the front connections for total clarity? I can guess...

looks like hose connecting the top of the intercooler pump to the manifold needs to be removed...the rearmost one with the vacuum bleeder connection. It has a little purple clip that must be removed first. The lower connection at the intercooler pump has a constant tension clamp. Remove this hose and store in a safe place. The intercooler reservoir may be mounted now on the strut tower brace location with the included hardware and the factory brace bolts. The front/lower nipple on the reservoir is for the new hose that has a 90° with no purple clip connection...go from the top of the intercooler pump to this front/lower nipple. The rear/top connection is for the return hose that has the purple clip connection on the water manifold end. Route as the pic above shows. Make sure routing of the hoses doesn't interfere with the engine belt or anything hot like the exhaust manifold. Place hose bracket as the above pic shows. Tighten worm gear clamps and refill system. Use black nylon tie straps to ensure clearance around everything. Check for leaks!

Yea, few pictures of the finished product install would be good. I am thinking about this but want to see how it looks after the install. I am also thinking about getting the 5th GEN ZL1 fill assy and cap and use that.

Keep us posted about instructions. I'm not a total dunce but some guidance would be appreciated.

OK...just finished the install and it isn't scary at all. I took a bunch of pics but somehow my stupid phone doesn't show all of them in my gallery. I would recommend removing the air filter cover, filter, and box for easier access to the top hose of the intercooler pump. My top hose clamp was positioned in such a way I could not remove this hose without removing the air filter/box assembly. This clamp is glued to the hose so it requires a firm squeeze to the clamp limit then a firm pull straight up to remove the hose end. The other end of this hose is simple as the purple clip needs to be removed with a pick or small screwdriver then pull gently to release from that location. Have the new hose with purple clip handy and quickly click the end there and attach loosely to the new reservoir to contain the small mess of coolant.
