PS4S is one of the world's finest street tires. No 'sharpness' issues here to report and I have driven both setups.

Just did a mostly freeway 8 hour 540 mile round trip in it and it really wasn't bad. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a trip like this again, it was fun.

Current tire is run flat Pilot Sport A/S 3 for my "winter" set up.

I have yet to drive one and honestly hardly any dealers in the area have them and the ones that do, are not keen on allowing test drives.

So I'm curious to hear about your back road/street driving experiences. I have a daily driver so it won't be my only car but I'd like to be able to drive it to work on occasion and definitely do spirited driving on backroads on the weekends (and maybe take the wife to do errands and such)

Please let me know your experiences

*edit* for reference, the SS 1LE I had, was always a -3.0* camber up front, and 1.25* rear - Was driven in Sport always on the street and Track mode on track. I only used Tour when the wife was in the car.
It always ZLE OEM size wheels/tires (305/325 /30-19 Continental Extreme Contact Sport for street and SC3Rs for track) on it as well
My question is your signature says you have an '18 F150 Diesel, Ford only recently released their F150 diesel, did you do a transplant or do you have a SD? Just curious.

Most replies already touched on this, but thought I'd echo with my own thoughts... 2020 ZL1 1LE took delivery in mid September and was able to put around 350 miles on her before having to put her away for the winter (live in Michigan and I don't DD the car but I could see it being a DD if you wanted). No doubt about it, the suspension is stiff but not too much worse than my 2014 Silverado Z71 imo. We have terrible roads here in the mitten state and I've never had the ride be so rough it hurt my back or anything like that. Certainly you have, "oh, that was rough" moments haha but it's never so upsetting that I even think for a second getting rid of this car! I love this thing! Freakin' race car from the factory with a warranty- you can't beat it! Plus with how planted it is in corners, when you see .5+ lateral G's on the HUD takin a corner quick and the amount of attention this thing commands at stoplights, gas stations, etc. consider me in the company of throw your money down OP, hit the gas, and enjoy the perma-grin! I just missed car show season as there were 2 cars and coffee remaining after I got the car but it rained for both, so can't wait for next year to hit the car shows!

Bottom line: Is it stiff and a bit rough at times? Yes. Is it so much so that it's unbearable causing regret? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

HAHA, .5 G corner?!, I do that in my g/f's Mazda. Cornering above 1G is where the fun is at. I see 1.1 almost on a daily basis on on/off ramps.

Forgive me I'm replying without reading all 5 pages that came before me...

I've had 2 of these cars. A 2018 and a 2019. Both softened up over time.

Everyone's threshold is different. My feeling is this car is very very daily drivable -- I've done it for about 5k miles so far with only one complaint... expansions joints SUCK. At speed you will hit the bump stops (or it feels that way?) and only a 5pt harness will keep your behind tucked in the seat.

2018 was the first year of the V6 3.0L powerstroke diesel.
I have an '18 F150 Crew Platinum with that same diesel
