looks like it's using fat wheels similar to the 1LE.

Wheels are definitely new. They look similar to the 1LE wheels but the lugs are in the splits, not between them like the 1LE wheels. The tread pattern is hard to see but it might be the Trofeo Rs again.

I don't think the wheels are carbon fiber like the GT350R but the brake rotors might be carbon ceramic.

I'm most interested to see what direction they go in for the suspension this time. DSSV shocks are amazing but expensive

Definitely has the non-RS halogen projector headlights.

The hood is not like the ZL1 which points away from the LT4. Not sure if there's something going on at the front of the hood though.

Those are some wide tires. Did they shave off all the sidewall markings?

I am betting they are trying to block the view of the caliber and rotor which leads me to believe that there is something special under there :-) and those tires are massive.

Also, it would appear to have a split spoiler in the rear based on the camo sag in the middle. If this thing is what it appears to be, it is a no holds barred track car which would be just another level of awesome.

Did the photographer get a listen to the engine? Was there any obvious supercharger or turbo noise or a video to go with the pictures posted there?

They had to have taken video. They don't want to give too much away though. Need to keep people guessing so they can make money on the next round of photos.

I did see this mentioned over on gminsidenews.com. Not sure where it is quoted here.

A Camaro6 member's son saw the ZL1, 1LE and a few SS Camaros with the Z/28 prototype behind them and he said it was very loud. It drowned out all the other cars as it drove by.

That was me. I'll try to find the post again.

Edit: Here's the quote.

My son just called me and said he spotted a caravan of Camaros where he lives which is odd because we don't see many test vehicles around here and he is further north of where I live. He didn't get any pics (I know!) Anyway, he saw 4 SS's, 1 ZL1 and the camo'd Z/28 pictured in this thread. The SS's and ZL1 were black and the Z/28 was in camo. He said the Z/28 was louder than my car (headers, no cats, 2.75" exhaust) and the ZL1 looked absolutely incredible in person. So be on the look out.. they're on the move.

Looks like 19" wheels...The tread pattern definitely suggests the Trofeo R tires, again...hood has some sort of venting going on, the lower aero components and front fascia look like they're borrowed from the ZL1.

Perhaps the wing is part of a stage aero kit like the Z06?

I'm thinking they took it off for the street because the camo over the wing would block nearly the whole rear view.

Great eyes, I can't tell if they are 19"or 20" rims.
