From New Jersey to Miami
So i've been in miami for about a week vacationing at my summer house. Fortunately i see a shit load of muscle cars (primarily camaros and mustangs) left and right more than i'd see in new jersey. One things i've noticed is that 95% of these cars are v6's and when i go to local chevy dealers, they have maybe one v8. Is there a specific reason why there are barely any v8s around? and I do not wanna turn this into a v6 vs v8 thing but its something that I see everyday and question.

I think there are about 50/50 in my area. you have to remember that half of the cars you see on the road here in florida are rental cars with tourists in them. enterprise alone has a massive fleet of v-6 Camaro and v-6 mustang rentals as most northerners love to come to florida and rent a ragtop sports car to cruise in

Most of the cars you see on the road are V6's because there are way more of them. Go to a car show and it's mostly V8's. Many people don't daily their V8's

aabreu09.....I live in Homestead. there are alot of rentals around here as well.. people going to the keys etc.... In most towns, city's etc..you will see more v6's which is not a bad thing.... Its just better gas mpg and its a less expensive car to own... Theres a ton of v8 cars here, its just alot of area to cover so there spread out...
