Why not Topaz Blue on the 2014 Camaro?

The 2014 Impala is offered in 3 Blues, one is Blue Ray which is also available on the Camaro. Another color is Topaz Blue (see pic) Being that they are built in the same plant, why cant Topaz Blue be sprayed in Camaros, I think I would look pretty great. Has this even been considered by GM any thoughts or guesses?

If it's not on the press release(which was released in March) for 2014, sorry but you'll have to hold out hope for 2015 for a release of a medium blue color for the Camaro.

It's not ugly but GM has better blues out there. I wouldn't hold your breath for any more blues on the fifth gen.

Im sugessting this Blue because it is an Impala color and therefore in house, Im not saying it is the best Blue in the world, and while it its still dark, It is lighter then blue ray. The Impala offers 3 blues why cant the camaro have 2?

I think they should bring back the Navy Blue Metallic from the 4th gens.

That color is close to Blue Ray Metallic on the 5th gens. Looks black at night and has purple tones in it like BRM.

This color appears black at night and has purple tones to it in the highlights in some lighting.

Though the Topaz Blue isn't bad, I think the Kinetic Blue is better. The original pic by the OP shows that the TB has some purple hue to it in certain lighting, but it would be great to have a blue that looks blue all the time imho. I know that the KB won't be made available, but if they could make a color that is just a shade darker, it would be perfect.

There is a color from the 4th Gen that's called Medium Quasar Blue Metallic which could be a good candidate, except for a name change

1994-1997
code 80
18,032
All GM records show this color being available in 1993, but with a production number of zero. The listing of this color being available for 1993 is an error. Zero 1993s were made in this color. In bright light, it is difficult (in pictures) to distinguish this color from bright teal metallic. Be careful if buying a car online and you're wanting this color. It never appears green, but sure looks a lot like bright teal in direct sunlight.
