The front is no worse than the charger's in my opinion, it's that thing in the mid lower girl that makes it look off

Great looking car all around. Love the interior. Confused as to why the LT1 wasn't used though.

Because the LT1 wasn't far enough in development when the VF Commodore was finished up.

If I have over 400 horsepower.. I want people to know it, so the body of the car is disappointing to me.

Why did GM decide to recycle the engine code "LT1"? I remember the LT1 from the early 90s as a predecessor to the LS series.

There is a lot of history associated with the LT1 dating back to 1970. Both are fondly remembered.

The reason I ask is because back in the early to mid-2000s, guys were yanking out the LT1s and going with the LSX series engines. I was racing against guys with their LSXs with my EVO VIII. The talk in the pits was that the LSX series engines were stronger. I have no experience with with any of this until my own LS3, and I am learning it.

Personally I like it.
Wonder what hints you could take away for the next gen Camaro? I'm thinking that the next gen is going to have much better seating for at least the SS. Also push start and leather wrapped auto shifter bezel. |

Exactly...I just like the fact that, with this SS, we have a better comparison of vehicles from to which to choose from. And the fact that Ford does not have a RWD vehicle anymore, it'll be a much easier decision to make for me. I already drive a Charger, but have been a Chevy guy most of my life. Now that Chevy brought back the RWD sedan, I am all excited.
