100% serious, 1LE sounds much better to my taste. In fact that over loud raspy sound would prevent me from enjoying the GT350 at all. I like the deep rumble to right volume full throttle blast of the dual mode and LT1 any day of the week over that head in a blender voodoo.

The 1LE owned the Boss when it was the heavier car with less power. Let's see how it performs when it is the lighter car. Should be interesting.

I loved the Z28 but was appalled at the price. Sure you got a lot and it was an AWSOME car, but I feel the current SS shows how over priced it was and the 1LE puts the nail in that coffin.
The GT350 is ugly and sounds horrible in my opinion. I loved how it sounded at first but as I hear it more and as the novelty of the special factor wears off it sounds silly coming out of that car. At equal price I'd still take my SS which is a huge swing from where I was 6 months ago almost buying the GT350, thank spaghetti I didn't! Realitive to most cars the GT350 and Z28 were bargains, but realitive to their newer more "basic" models they are not. |

I think a more appropriate match would be the GT350R. People are underestimating just how good the alpha platform is. The GT350 is a nice car but the 1LE will outmatch that car easily.

Voodoo's posts are always fun to read. That guy needs to step away from the keyboard before he has a stroke.

Wow! Voodoo needs a hug. He's hurting bad. Does he track his car? Let's see video, time slips, etc.

Yes his responses are entertaining. He can't stand the fact that the GT350 may not be able to hang with the 1LE and my guess is that it won't be able too.

That thread over there started ok. Guys actually interested in what was going on. Even saying the comparison was not apples to apples. The R should be faster....they hope...
Not going to waste my time over there, thread went lame.

Gt350 looks good, but the engine sounds like absolute crap. I cringe when I see videos of it, it's like a hopped up weed whacker.
