I used to drive a Ford F350 without owning a trailer.

I test drove the 2ss non 1le prior to deciding I needed a 1le, scared the salesman pretty good and knew immediately the brakes and wheels on the non 1le were not enough for my driving taste. Although to add to that my ss 1le still feels lacking in the power department sometimes. Could have got the ZL1 sure but I'm saving for something a bit more exotic next. If you don't need the 1le's extra grip, handling and breaking on your daily driver/weekend warrior all good but I know I NEED IT!

I will definitely track mine. That said it will spend far more time on the rolling hills of Tennessee. Absolutely love it there.

These threads are always humorous. Who cares how somebody else wants to spend their money? Most people who buy new sports cars are over the age of 50, don't track their car, won't drive it in rain, snow, cold, too hot, etc.

Is a base SS Camaro really any more practical?

Face it, if it was all about practicality we would all be driving a Toyota Prius.
