Runs things hard, they are bound to break. Glad to see this being done on a TRACK and not "filmed in mexico" as most shittubers prefer to do.

Seems to be common issue w mustangs and oil consumption. Consumer enough, and there not enough left for cooling and lubrication.

could be worse. you could spend hundreds on a track day only to have your brand new ZL1 with dealer plates just shut off on you on lap one of session 2 into your day, and then have to pay to have it towed hundreds of miles back home.

happened to a guy at watkins last week.

A GT4 lost 3rd gear at Calabogie last weekend. Apparently a common issue with those Pcars.
Any car can suffer on a track, while being pushed, especially by a driver that is "hard on the equipment" (as in over revs, rides/dumps the clutch, etc).

FYI: if you see a car smoking like this and about to puke all over the track: do NOT follow it, lest you'll go for one heck of a ride, which usually results in a major wreck.

This! As I was watching the video I kept waiting for the camera car to start sliding off track.

If you’re ever following a car that starts smoking like that, practice your off line driving, or get around it quickly

When I first saw the title to this thread I was thinking you might have been running behind a 2019 GT that went into limp mode in RA's Canada Corner at a very recent event there (Northwoods Shelby Club?). It's a guy I know of from a Mustang forum (not M6G), and he. is. pissed.
