Wicker bill and ET's

First post here guys so take it easy on me lol. How much will a wicker bill affect straight line performance after 100 mph to 120 mph? They look really good but I want an 11 sec pass with my SS but I think that might slow it down??

Slower, its wind resistance and the taller the wing off the trunk the more wind resistance. A flat spoiler will mph better and still put plenty of down force to keep the car from moving around. Drag cars don't run wickers, maybe a road course car, but not a drag car.

Thank you sir. I saw a you tube vid of a stock 18 SS lose to a stock 19 GT (both manual) and it looked like the GT at around 100 mph would walk right by. I noticed the wicker bill and figured it had to play a part although the guy in the SS sounded like he was shifting at 5k and missed gears a couple of times.

That last part says it all. If the guy in the Camaro was doing a crappy job of driving, then his results are, of course, meaningless. Just like a Mustang 5.0 Coyote that I've seen running 14s on the dragstrip, meaningless.

I agree. The Mustang driver concluded that his car just pulls way harder on the top end. Maybe it does but not that much harder...

Wickerbills can be removed you know?
Just take it off whenever you're going to the drag strip.
