All Ceramic coated up and picking it up tomorrow!! Thankfully the dealership was awesome and kept the front plate bracket off for me Ill be getting the screw in bracket for the tow hook but no need to worry until after winter!

Ordered last week, didn't get an allocation on Thursday due to Thanksgiving. Hoping to get one tomorrow, it's a higher volume dealer and there is no one ahead of me in queue for 1LE.

2SS 1LE in Riverside, only option was red seat belts, 6MT.

Ordered a 2SS 1LE at end of October. Just got a 12/19 TPW last week. Can't wait to get it. The ordered got picked up way sooner than I anticipated.

I did have the dealership get it done. They use a local company in our area that is absolutely fantastic. I know them from the detailing world and the car shows and such so when they told me the company name they use i was like B.E.A.uuutiful!
The pricing that the company charges has a few different packages. The package that i have done is Now $2499. At the time of ordering the car the Price was $2000 so that is the amount I payed for it.

2k for a 8 year rated coating for me is 100% worth it. added like 2$ to my payment lol..

Since i detail on the side (never had to deal with ceramic coatings before though) I will try ceramic coating my other 3 personal vehicles on my own and see how it goes. I have heard its not to hard to do.. Just extremely time consuming and such.

LOL 100% they still were.. It was the first thing i noticed when i walked in to look the car over!

I said to them." i dont understand why we pay for a dealership inspection of the car when the window sticker that was on it saying to remove those was on the drivers door when it came off the truck" ( i was there when it came off the truck and had a picture of it and showed them lol..

Also the coating he puts on it is unreal to see how the water beads off the car. I went to see them detail/wash a car that had the same coating on it and i could not believe how that stuff just makes everything rinse off like nothing!

Im not sure where you are in Ontario but the company that did the coating is called Valhalla Auto Spa. They are located here in Niagara. I know out Toronto way its a heck of a lot more expensive(as with everything).

Dealer just called and said he knows why it hasnt shipped yet. He said they just had a ZL1 built and they were probably waiting on the second car to be built. I said do you know some 22's have not been delivered yet....long pause....lol We will see. He thinks it will be here this month.

Well.. could have had a better night taking the car home..

Rad fluid pissed out of it just before i got home so now i sit waiting for a tow to bring it back to the dealership to see what happened..
Engine shut off on its own at a stop sign.... i pray its nothing major.. the car will start up and no engine oil on the ground thankfully.. just rad fluid..

Wish me luck!! My dad worked at gm for 48 years.. just told him i guess i shoulda bought a mustang lol

As far as i know right now after speaking to the dealership it was a RAD hose issue..

When i go speak with the mechanic in person after work i will be finding out more.

Car is good to go.. Road tested and re-detailed..

Thankfully i had it ceramic coated so the rad fluid didnt sit on the paint all night.

I will be the judge as to how clean they actually made it and such..I will also be pushing to at least get an extended power train warranty out of it incase something internal was affected and comes out years later.

Well it is home!!

It was just a rad hose that wasnt fully pushing in by the factory and it came loose from the bumps prolly..

Ill be going to see the Service and Sales managers on Monday since they were both not at the dealership today when i picked it back up

See what they can offer me and hopefully can make things right.

I understand it might not have been their fault.. But when you pay 2k for a PDI you should be able to expect the car is good to go!
