New build in the works 1100rwhp
Welp, decided to bite the bullet and just go full out on my car instead of buying another ZL1 and ripnning that apart. I'm eyeballing a c6 Z06 to gut that for track only, but i'm looking for 1100+ wheel on my ZL1. So far here is the list with a few questions.
LME 416ci 1800HP Longblock (iron) Callies Magnum Crankshaft Callies Enforced Rods w/ARP Ultra Hardware Diamond 2K Pistons w/Upgraded Wrist Pins ARP Main Studs LME Bracketry Adapter CID Aftermarket LT4 Heads LME Titanium Intake Valves Inconel Exhaust Valves LME Dual Spring Kit Custom LME Camshaft LME Billet Timing Cover ARP Head Studs Cometic Head Gaskets C5R Timing Chain Johnson Lifters 10L90 complete Rebuild New Driveshaft TooHigh PSI Spacers Deatschwerks Injectors Custom Holley Port Injection Keeping my blower/interchiller Question on the toohigh psi spacers/port injection. Anyone else using this setup here with the holley system, and how is it? I should be able to run full E with my low side upgrades. Any issues or concerns? 10 Rib and 112mm throttle body are options too. I believe the trans can take about 1200whp after the rebuild so thats the max im going to shoot for.

Don't forget the all season tires so you can drive it in the snow.
In all seriousness, that is going to be one hell of a build. Keep me posted on it. |

112mm TB and 10 rib are no brainer upgrades IMO. Bore is more important than stroke with a PD blower, I’d look at a 4.125” bore instead of stroking a stock bore motor too. Looks like a killer build!

Jason Leiva, has a similar setup with the Toohigh plates, and Holley, but with a billet block, and also a built 10speed Pure transmission. https://m.facebook.com/groups/718885...6529636178463/

To be honest, since there aren't very many people pushing a ZL1 to this level, I don't know that I would trust too many opinions here. I would contact Jason Leiva on FB and ask his opinion. He owns the worlds quickest 6th Gen ZL1 and he just got finished with his latest build which is 1445whp. He's super friendly and always willing to help answer questions.

A lot of people might have useful information but without pushing this far they might not have the best information. At this level, 1200 1300 1400 RWHP, there are a lot of things involved. I certainly have no advice to give. Lol. |

Looks solid other then I would do a 427 instead of 416.
Jenetty has a build documented making almost 1100whp on E82 with a 427/2650 combo using DI fueling(XDI system).
