Cooling, upping RPMs and guess my HP

Hey guys, finally dropping my car off for install of the parts in my signature. P1SC stage 2 (yes it’s tiny)is already installed with kooks 2 inch headers and lt4 in tank and made 553hp/ 490tq. It runs good but I want more. Probably going with 3.7 pulley and E60 hopefully. Now to my question. What do people think of meth for just cooling? Not going to use it for fueling. And I’m considering upping rpm’s to 7000. I bought Caddy Racing lifters. Is 7000 a little high or am i safe. And since I’ve changed my setup so much it would fun to hear your guesses on horsepower based on this setup.

If you're running E60, no need for meth. I'm on 93 and made 722 without it. Also spinning mine to 7,000 without any issues. You should be able to max the P1SC out, probably time to go up to a D1X. Your cam doesn't have much duration on the intake side though.

Ok that’s good to hear. Skipping the meth. Yeah e60 shouldn’t be a problem. 750 would be the first goal. A D1X is definitely a possibility in the future. And maybe a BTR Trinity or something like that as I still have a stock intake too

P1sc turned up will need meth to cool the air temp or you will have to adjust the air temp vs spark retard table to not pull timing until about 170 degrees on E. But make sure to never run the car hard on pump gas if you do that.

I have a noob question
So adjusting the air temp and spark retard tables to not pull timing until 170 degrees will create too LEAN of an environment with 93 ?

King is saying that if you push the car hard on pump gas, the car will very likely detonate and smoke the stock bottom end since you’ve instructed the car not to pull timing. E85 gives you a cooling effect and provides a massive safety margin against detonation, so you can not pull timing and still be fine.

Not lean, but 170 degree IAT on 93 octane and full timing will cause spark knock. On E there is more tolerance of high IAT w/o knock.

So tuning the iat vs timing for best performance on E isnt going to play nice on 93.

You beat me to it. Your explanation was better.

This is why i love this forum. I learn something every day. Thanks for the explanation guys. Might skip meth and just go at least e60 and then upgrade to a D1X if i can handle my current build. Tires will be a must. I think my 275s PS4S is going to be a little bit too small lol
