Wow you guys were 100% right, the dealership said that someone pulled the wire harness off which is why it was so close to the headers, totally melted

They spliced all the wires back together, thought this fixed it but it did not, now they replaced the ENTIRE wiring harness through out the length of the car because all the arching seems to have caused damage elsewhere in the electrical system...

Oof that's a bummer. Looks like a lot labor. Glad you are getting it sorted out though! Hopefully this is the last of it. I'm guessing you can add a little more "DEI style" heat protection around the area that previously melted, as well as relocate it a bit.

My headers are ceramic coated, but not sure how much that helps

Damn how much does the car weigh with all the interior stripped out. Glad you're getting it fixed!

If you were thinking of adding anything that required wiring, now is the time to do it with everything apart.

Yeah I briefly thought about keeping some of it out for when I get back to the racetrack, but I enjoy driving the car too much on the road as well too take any heavy items like AC, seats, speakers and passenger seats out... Or making it look ugly on the inside for that matter
