If you guys say so...

My point about the Mustang wheel and “excessively soft” is that you can grasp it and it feels nearly like a sponge. The material being too “thin” is that I’d worry about the integrity of the material long term.

I don't know what year or trim you're talking about, but nothing about my 18 wheel feels like what you're describing.

I liked the interior of my Mustang maybe a snootch better than the Camaro but I don't have any problems with the Camaro, either. Ups and downs and cheap materials are plus and minuses in both cars.

2018 and 2019. Multiple trims and configurations of GT (because I almost bought one).

The '18 GT Premium leather wrapped steering wheel has a thin cushion beneath it for a slightly padded feel. It by no means feels like a sponge, however. I've had hard leather steering wheels before and the GT wheel feels good in my hands.

And that right there is what really matters. I really don't care what the material is, as long as it feels good on the hands and feels/looks nice.

I swapped out my Alcantara wheel and shifter for the SS leather ones because to me, it felt better.

I'm definitely not a GT350 fanboy - I do think it's overpriced consider the Voodoo engine issues. It is amazing to rev that 5.2 past 8000rpm though and the sounds are glorious!

The 19's come with psc2's.

Good info. Will be interesting to see what kind of performance gains in handling and braking the base GT350 will see from this upgrade.

My guess is once they decided to put the PSC2 on the PP2 GT, they had no choice but to make them standard on all GT350's.

They couldn't have a PP2 GT out cornering a GT350 in terms of Lateral G's

Usually Chevy has better fit and finish than Ford. Also previous 6th gens topped out at just under 180mph according to people doing wide open runs on YT. This article now says governed at 165. What up wit dat??

have both a 19 GT And 19 ss .they are both the 10speed transmission.. my honest opinion is the mustang by far is the more comfortable to drive out of the two ..I like the layout and design better ..it looks like a mustang inside with the History and nostalgia .The Camaro ..I really dislike is door panels and console. long drives the door panels hurt my knee .. I can see why they have the knee bolster kit.. which is definitely one of the first things I want to get.. my problem with the center console is almost useless .the passange has to have there seat all the way back, they cannot use the armrest unless they want to put their elbow in the cup holder. And again your knee is right next to the center console... Also I have trouble reading all the gauges on the Camaro even with my seat all the way down in the lowest position. the seats themselves are not uncomfortable .. just not the greatest layout of the controls and switches .. just a poor job of utilizing the space. The trunk is deep but not very wide which makes it hard to put most large items in the trunk compared to the Mustang... And the side mirrors do not fold in . For long drives definitely enjoy the Mustang better. The Camaro is a lot of fun to drive short drives .extra torque is definitely noticeable the just feels stronger . Handles more smoothly but then again I've lowered and added mods to the Mustang suspension. Also it seems like the 10-speed transmission it's more smoother in the Camaro it doesn't seam choppy and jerky in low gears like at a stoplight and low speeds ..feels like Mustang is searching for gears.but mustang in sport and track I feel like I have more control.. also I like the Camaro has a bigger fuel tank than the Mustang making the drives longer and less trips to the gas station.. and so far seems to be getting a few more MPGs as well over the Mustang...looks wise ..is in the eye of beholder.I see and have of vision of what the cars will look like once I'm done doing different modifications to them..but at the end of the day I do think the mustang is better looking .. I really dislike the location of the fuel door on the Camaro it looks so out of place.. the taillights are perfect on the Mustang.. I have no hate for the 19 SS front end . I actually like and think it's unique and functional. Kind of reminds me of a modern-day split bumper second gen Camaro. I'd like that it comes with the shocks for hood . the sound acoustics inside the cabin sound better in the Camaro . HUD is nice . Nicer looking coolant overflow tank. Brembo calipers front and back. Sorry for alot of random info..just kinda my first impressions so far having the Camaro for two weeks and this being my second s550 mustang
