The material is nicer than OEM IMO, it has an extra layer of padding so it's a bit thicker than stock, and it's not as hard due to the padding. It isn't squishy, it's firm but not as hard as stock. I also think the material is a good bit nicer than what GM uses.

Later this morning I should be able to post a pic of the redone Camaro wheel in front of my current C7 suede wheel. If I could have easily used this on the C7 I would have been very happy with it.
