Installing Focal & JVC Speakers

Polk DB 692 were recommended for the doors. I had Polks in my 96 Silverodo,
I wasn't impressed. They were better then the blown stock speakers...lol
I was going to install the Alpine R-S65 R. With the plan of more audio upgrades
in the future. Any input welcome (It's a 2016 1SS, non bose) Thanks

I was thinking of trying a set of Morel Tempo Ultra 692's.
They are a 6x9 component speaker setup.
I have not listened to any Morel before but I do prefer silk dome tweeters.

Well, after much research I went with the Fosal RCX690 for the doors and the JVC CS DR620 for the rear. Not priced to bad and reviews were good. I'll install these,
see how they sound. Of coarse anything has to be better the the OEM speakers

I got JL Audio speakers on my 16 1SS. They sound real loud and clear. I got the door speakers, the back ones and the tweeters. Plus I got an epicenter. Subwoofer in trunk of course

I only use Hybrid Audio drivers. I went with Hybrid Audio Legatia SE 7.1" midbass for the doors. https://hybrid-audio.com/speakers/legatia-se/

I went with STEG SQ650's components up front. Running off JL Audio Slash 400/3v3 and JL FIX 86 to integrate it into the factory system. Bangs like a mother. I was running the mids off the stock amp for a little to break them in under lower power and they still sounded amazing than. Now things are just on another level. I have been thinking of swapping to JL C7 mids in the door but not sure if I wanna drop so much $ on that. I want other things first.
