These auction sites seem like a great way to get a good price when selling and easy to overpay when buying.

From what I have seen, the price is usually okay for the seller, but gets kinda crappy for the buyer once you factor in the fees.

There are deals though every now and then.

Not a bad price right now for a low mileage 18.

Went past a dealer yesterday that has a ‘20 dark grey ZLE for $70k.

That's Doug DeMuro's site. Basically a competitor to bringatrailer. You can certainly overpay on those sites, but they're also pretty well curated with interesting vehicles that are well cared for and often low mileage. Much less noise than an autotrader or ebay motors.

As for the website, setting up the auction is pretty painless and there is a dedicated specialist to help you get set up. While the auction ends tomorrow, I have already been pretty happy with the experience, although I guess would prefer a bit more exposure for the auction. I think for any enthusiast type car a website like this makes a lot of sense.

18' ZL1 1LEs were built and delivered in 17'.

In CA I can probably get more for my 18 ZLE just trading it in to a dealer.

Yes, a little lower than I expected, but overall low hassle and I’m happy with the price. The buyer is a dealer in CA, so the spare wheels probably not valuable to him.

FWIW, my vroom offer was 55K when I started the auction and I got a new offer for 59k on the last day of the auction.
