Get the battery tested.... Bad batteries/low voltage causes weird issues

If it's saying reduced power it could be that you're CPU is done

I had this happen on my 5th gen after having accidentally knocking a plug wire off while working on the car. Probably not it but just an idea.

Do you have access to a OBD reader? If you call OnStar they can tell you what codes they see as well. It can point you in the right direction. Honestly, it could be a bunch of different items ranging from cheap to expensive.

Plug issue, coil pack, sensor(s), injector, etc.

When you see service stabilitrac along with engine codes, the first thing to suspect is a weak battery.

Get to a dealer for warranty service.

Interesting, my wife was just mentioning that her Chevy Cruze is getting an intermittent Stabilitrac warning on her dash. There are a few videos on Youtube with problems being everything from a bad ground cable to leaky PCV valve to bad wheel sensors.

That Stabilitrac error is non-specific, and is probably related to reduced engine power.
This sounds like a misfire or vacuum leak. The DTC's will guide you.

Stabilitrak (Solid) + Check Engine Light (Flashing) + Car Shuddering

Hi,

I own a 2017 1LT Manual Camaro.

Two days ago I was driving and downshifted from 4th to 3rd gear, after downshifting the car started shuddering significantly and the Traction Control System (TCS)/StabiliTrak® Light came on and stayed on (SOLID), the Check Engine Light came on and began flashing. The message "Service Stabilitrak" showed up on my dash.

Power to the car was reduced significantly and I was fortunate to be less than 2 kilometers from my local dealer.

I limped the car to the dealer and turned off the car when I got there. After speaking with the technicians, they advised me to come back in the morning if the issue persisted.

The car was turned on and both lights went back on. I spoke to the tech and left the car for service.

The dealer fixed the car the next day.

This is the information they provided which I am sharing so others can resolve this issue when it occurs.

"DTC P0300 SET.
MISFIRE COUNTS ON CYCLINDER #1. NO SPARK. SWAPPED COIL AND PLUG TO KNOW GOOD CYCLINDERS.
MISFIRE FOLLOWED COIL TO CYCLINDER #2.
PROVIDED QUOTE TO REPLACE THE COIL. RECOMMEND ENGINE TUNE-UP.
REPLACED THE COIL. OK NOW.
"

The car ran like new after this work was done. In retrospect the misfires were happening for quite sometime, however I thought it was just my driving skills diminishing.

I hope this helps other people who get into the same situation. With this information you can probably save money and replace the coil pack yourself if you pull the same code.

Also the work was not covered under any warranty.

169 in labor for an ignition coil?!? Not sure about the camaro's but in my VW it is literally Open hood, remove engine cover, unplug coil, pull out coil with tool / zip ties, put in new coil, replug wire, put engine cover back, close hood. 10 min job absolute max. I guess that includes diagnosis?

169 was for the base diagnostic and the work included to swap out the coil pack.

The job is straightforward for sure. It was something I did a bunch of times when building my 87 Supra.

This time I am okay with paying just for part availability, and getting back on the road quickly.
