I don't like the front, but that is me. If you like it that is all that counts!!

Believe it or not, I tried this way like you have which is how most do the front. Didn’t like it going straight myself, and it was just to much stripe To me, following the body lines on the hood to The heat exchanger just made more sense in my head.

But thanks for your feedback.

Strips look nice...surprised we don't have thread just for Camaro's with strips. I'd think about install of strips if I seen few more with satin steel.
Best I seen is owner with ZL1 orange paint with thinking lighter orange strips...That's killer looking

Looks awesome brother, just as we discussed the other day The narrowing section of the hood stripes is a bit more difficult on the eyes initially, but they make sense.

Btw another nice weight bump now that you no longer need to fear my lighweight SS

Not a fan of the front but at least it's dark.

We've made it, thanks This place is different for sure, so far it gets a big like from me.

Heard you on the weight, unfortunately there is no way I'll lose any down here, that I can already see. It'd be jaw dropping to see you at 120 lbs, though

Hey, are you planning to come down to Camaro Fest X? It's only a 3-hour drive from here, which may change my mind about not attending, especially if we can meet up and drag race

Looks awesome. I toyed with your tapered look but in the end went straight as well. I’m a stripe guy for sure.

suggestion

I think the color combination is GREAT. I might try outlining the entire stripe with a small pin stripe in the same color as the stripe or if you wanted to see some contrast, you might even try a RED small pin stripe as the outliner.

Car looks great either way though.

Yep, I was literally thinking the same thing that a red pin stripe outlining the main stripes would tie in the red 1s of the ZL1 emblems, the red tow hook, and the red stitching of the interior as well.

The 6th gen hood with the multiple lines and especially the ZL1, makes for a difficult application. I also was torn over to go straight with the stripes or follow the hood lines. I decided on the latter and am very happy with the outcome.

Initially I was all over your application, but I was too attached to the stripe on the lower part of the bumper as well. Decided against it because to keep the taper, the lowest level would have wound up too small.

I like this. I think I may try adding a red or black single thin line to mine. I like how yours and mine follow the body lines. I think it looks much bettter then straight lines down the front…. Plus everyone does that
