First off, as a Hispanic who emigrated legally, pays a lot of taxes and tries to avoid trouble, F that guy, he deserves to be burnt in the Iron Bull
Second, hopefully it's not an awful repair, technically minor to moderate damage, rear side bumper and quarter panel too, rear wheel is maybe salvageable? Doesn't look any bent to me but I use bottles as glasses, the SC might be a sensor cable got cut/loose or maybe a control arm got bent, the good thing is that, while we have fancy Camaros, they're still Chevy products and easy/cheap to repair, good luck!

I just don't see the rear 1/4 being an easy fix. It has to be cut and welded and then blended. We shall see, suspension is fcked for sure, wheel is leaning in and kicked out as well as the front, front right is flush and the left side is about 2 inches out so damage there. I agree, come here legally and welcome all but the a holes we'll never mind lol. Hope they got him, they were looking and I'm pressing charges.

Pretty sure everyone here loves, appreciates and welcomes anyone who comes here legally, I know I do. It always cracks me up when everyone I know who immigrated here legally makes fun and trashes the illegals because it makes them look bad, but that never gets on the news. I actually know folks here who came legally from Mexico, Pakistan and China that I deal with on a near daily basis. |

OP, I feel your pain, my car isn't a virgin anymore either (although that was completely my fault). At first sight this doesn't look super extensive, but of course what do I know as an amateur. Hope your uninsured motorist coverage will be sufficient to cover the cost.

Funny side note. I chased down the neighborhood car item thief back in the day and made my newspaper for it. Dumbass opened the door with me in the car after I came home from a night out w/ the lady and I spotted him trying to get into cars and sat there waiting lol I beat the living shit out of him after I caught him too. DO NOT make me run ever, it will end badly for you |

I hate to admit it, but I'm afraid to drive my car. So many idiots and morons with their face in their phone or head jammed in their rectum. Mine's a 2017 with about 3500 miles. Between the jerks, cicada season and trying to build a barn and house, I just don't get the car out much. But when I do, its pure bliss!

Down here in Florida we have TONS of those dump trucks with small rocks on them. had one today pelt me. That's when the v8 power comes in handy on the SS to go 90 plus past them and get away from them! |

Florida victim of an uninsured driver here, rear-ended the hell out of me about a year ago, sucks. Hope you get a positive resolution, at least it looks like the wheel can be fixed? Might be bent if it's sticking out too far

For an update, I talked to the body shop and they are looking at 7500.00 preliminary as of now for the repair. They said there was a bent bolt on the rear suspension causing the wheel to lean in and out but as a mechanic doesn't make sense, front cradle shifted and once they replace the bolt they will go from there. So, fender, bumper, clips and brackets, send the wheel out for repair, paint the bumper, fender, doors and blend the doors and fenders.. I have diode dynamics side markers that are on 4 week back order so I may have to run a stocker that I still have. I'm happy so far, they are going to paint the rockers where we get all the rock chips and fix one tinny dent I put into it myself. The advisor is a car guy and I didn't mention the tiny dent but he found it lol.

Yes, Sir. The Great Smoky Mountains were beckoning, and we've answered the call
I could say I've always wanted to live closer to the Tail of the Dragon, but that'd be a white lie, it's just a perk and you guys all know the real reasons (plus wifey wants a bit of land, chickens, our own produce etc., and I owe her at least this much after 20+ years of valiantly putting up with me and my stuff).
