Dennytown Run 6/14/2020

Going to join Driver's Republic drive on a Dennytown Run https://www.facebook.com/events/210110887102282

This just changed yesterday from Bear Mountain to Dennytown Run. I am waiting for details on start/end points. Will update this thread when I know more.

If this doesn't pan out or make sense please keep an eye on this thread and we will do something on our own.

We will meet up at Walgreens Parking lot 409 Ramapo Valley Rd, Oakland, NJ 07436 @ 6:00 AM. Then we will have a spirited drive up 287N and meet up at the Park & Ride 1056 NY-45 Pomona, NY at 6:30AM. From there we will follow the group up to Bear Mountain.

Who is interested?
Im trying the Facebook link and it says Event isn't available. I would like a little more information.

I think it was approval only group if I remember, meaning I had to apply.

I will be but note they changed the event due to road closures. check out the top as more details unfold. If it doesn't make sense we can do something on our own.

What is the event for 6/14? We couldn’t make it last time. This Sunday we might come.

I put myself as a maybe. I have to see where I leave off with my concrete project on Saturday having 11 yards delivered and have a feeling that I might be beat.

Just incase where is everyone meeting?

Starting point is Dunkin Donuts at Jefferson Valley and we end at Hudson Highlands State Park.

Do you guys want to do this or do our own thing? We could take the full drive up to Hawks Nest if you want to, last time we stopped at High Point State Park. We could also head south a little depending on who is coming from where.

Jefferson Valley puts us an hour and 17 minutes north of where we live plus the drive to the destination. Seems far but I don’t know enough about the route to say it’s worth the time. Need help deciding.

They're both gonna be 2+ hours from my starting point in central nj so I am down for either. But I would have to leave stupidly early for the run

519 runs from Colesville to Rosemont. It’s touted as one of the best 10 drives in
New Jersey. We could do a portion of it. Either meet up there and head south or start in the middle and head up to Colesville and head home from there at the end.
