Just a question. If someone is unsure of how much to sell something and they post a very high price is commentating that it's way high wrong? The comment being in the hope of helping the person with the sale? Is it better to just let them not sell or do the comparison looking for themselves? I've been reading this forum for years and joined after I got my SS. I know most here just want to try to help each other as I do. I'm old school and need help with this new technology!

I suggest we make a sticky "safe place" with coloring books and play doh for people that feel that they have been wronged.

Yes, it's a private forum. Yes, we all agreed to certain rules. But really...deleting posts because I commented on people's insane asking prices should not be happening. REALLY. THIS IS A MESSAGE BOARD.

MODERATOR - PLEASE provide warnings and delete posts for all that do not agree with me because my feelings are hurt. THANKS
I've been here long enough to know, it's all how you word things.

For example, if you were to state you think a $100 is a little high, and you would be interested at $75 it would be a non issue. But once you call someone out and say "$100 are you high or something" I wouldn't pay anymore than $75 for something like that. Then it becomes an issue, just talk nice.

This is very true...I do find sometimes the way people word their post it might come across a little of from what they auctually mean.

One of our biggest issues on the site I moderate is advertising. Businesses trying to play for free. It is strictly in the rules as it is here.

I don't think it is out of line to comment on such an offering...whether you agree or disagree.

That should be within the boundaries of a respectful reply.
Why would you want to purchase my $100 bill?
If you would rather have my $100 bill than your $100 bill, doesn't that mean my $100 bill is better than your $100 bill?

In order to get offended, you must first care what people think...... People actually care?!?

Some manufacturers are better than others.

So doesn't a warning message from a moderator fall within the definition of "feedback" to that specific post of yours? Think about it. Or about pots and kettles.

Personally I still can't believe this thread is still going.

Posting about a warning message and flaming a mod is a big no no.
