I believe both of these have the Dual Mode Exhaust NPP option for $995 looking at the window stickers.......

I checked the sticker previously. No exhaust option nor is it in the renderings. I think I had the wrong car though. Looks to be red hot and a 1LE, which would already come with the NPP.

fair enough. I just hate the sounds AND looks of the non-npp exhaust. Absolute deal breaker for me.

The sad part is the Shadow gray 2SS is a 1LE with a bunch of overpriced options and it's STILL going to be cheaper than the 24 I ordered in my SECOND choice of colors. IF they haven't marked it up and not posted that on the site. Most likely ordered and spoken for by someone.

I hear ya. I heavily debated between assuming an already scheduled MY23 order, OR trying to locate a MY24 allocation AND actually have the option to spec myself. That's not to mention the nearly guaranteed price increase (which we know now).

The small reward of the latter didn't seem worth the risk, so I jumped on the '23.

Some folks don't care for the NPP. If I was even remotely thinking of doing aftermarket, I'd save the money by not ordering NPP and put that towards an aftermarket exhaust(of which there are plenty that absolutely blow NPP away in terms of sound).

Good choice.
Ironically, I almost ordered one in 2022 when I ended up buying this Vette, now it would've been a bargain for sure. And that was because all the used were overpriced and all the advertised "In Transits" were spoken for or had more options than I wanted for a higher price than what I spec'd out.
STILL thought twice about that Shadow, lol. really wanted that color

I do not have NPP. Dealer asked about it specifically when I was ordering my LT1. I prefer the look of the dual tips instead of the quad tips, plus I was trying to keep MSRP as low as possible. My "had to have" priorities were Recaros, Tech Package and Blade spoiler. I also knew as mentioned by GearheadSS above, that I had aftermarket options with dual tips.

Is there any performance advantage? I've looked around but found nothing, has anyone done any dyno testing comparing the base system to NPP?

$1,000 for noise and something that is likely to fail (expensively) after the warranty is up, that does not appeal to me. But if there is HP/TQ that comes with it, then I'd be interested.
