Who has a fuel line disconnect tool that actually worked on our PCV connection?

AND where did you get it? I'm not buying intake or tube until I can get this off. Yes, I could break it, but i don't want to do that. OR is there another way it comes off without it breaking it. Thanks for the help fellas.

The line running to the intake is the only one that I could actually remove with the Mishimoto tools...took less than 5 min but had to detach the intake tube so I could access both clips...

Tried with the tube attached, but there was no way...(at least not for my fat hands)

I know there was a post that said they got a fuel line disconnect tool to work, but i cant find it. Except for you CC, I think everyone else with a 2017 has broken theirs off.

I had a old set (Blue point) I got when working in a shop, and several of them would have worked. I believe I used the blue one, second from the smallest. But you can probably get individual disconnects at part stores. I just slid it up in there, and pulled the line straight back, no breaking maybe 5 seconds.

I've got a set of disconnect tools, but they are all too short. Autoparts stores all have the same size and no one has a clue how to get it off. The link you posted doesn't work.

Sorry about that, I updated it.

And the actual clips that hold it on are right near the very edge. At first I thought my tools were too short, that they had to reach where you can see the indentions at. But they are actually right near the bottom of the plug.

Oh, then maybe mine will work. I'll give it another try. Thank you very much!

Ok, I've got that colored set in the link you provided. So that should work?

It worked for me lol. There was no click or anything once they were released, but once I got the tool slid up there a little bit I just pulled straight back and it came off with little pressure.

Putting RPM charge pipe and ZZP silicone intake on Saturday. I'll post up the pics. So, for anyone who wants to know, this disconnect tool worked.

Revisiting an old thread to Thank You guys (Gutling, Michigan1LTRS) for posting this! Followed what you did to remove the factory intake and replace with the ZZPerformance Silicone Intake Tube.

I used the exact same tool and it worked on my 2017 with the 'revised' clips. The instructions from ZZPerformance made it seem simple to remove the hose by hand.

I'm usually impatient and was attempting to muscle it off with a screwdriver and trim tools. I took a step back, searched Camaro6, and landed on this thread! Glad I did it instead of breaking the clips as I'm still under warranty and will be swapping back to my factory tube when I take my car to the dealership for service.

Thanks again
