Ok so I'm looking to replace my front wheel bearings and decided I might as well upgrade to the 1le wheel bearings , what do I need for this conversion?

Hope you've been saving or have deep pockets.

There is a vendor on e bay claiming to have them for less than $60. I haven't researched the vendor or part. Just putting it out there.

I purchased the ebay hubs and have them on the rear of my car. They have a longer spline in the hub then stock. I have about 5000 miles on them no problems. They fit in with no problem you can reuse the stock bolts.

That's good to know. I don't need them but if I wanted to upgrade that's a hell of a price. They are much more online GM. I wonder how they sell them that cheap. I worried they were copies.

Out of curiosity I contacted the e bay vendor. They responded that they are GM but not in the original boxes. Maybe they purchased a large quantity not in boxes. There are a few c5 members that are using them.

I have them, no issues. Ran at NCM, worked great!

Can you clarify what you mean by "LONGER SPLINE IN THE HUB"?

Thanks!

longer splines compare to a SS vs compared to ZL1/1LE? All of the hubs are interchangeable...just the ZL1/1LE hub has larger internal bearings..which might explain the longer splines?

I will be installing '14 1LE axles in my 2010 when I replace the diff seals(right side leakin a bit) and the only difference is the axle nut bolt is a 36MM vs the SS 32MM..plus the outer CV on the LE axles is about 1in larger in diameter than the stock SS..

now for the fronts don't matter....
