Question for the more experienced owners from a newb -

How do you get through the times of day when you have to park the car? I drove it to work today, and am really struggling with how to handle the separation.

Park in sight of a window? Or park by the smoking area and tell them you are a smoker! LOL

Congrats, welcome to the club. I would like to say the separation anxiety gets better, but it doesn't. You just try to put it out of your mind and get back to business. When mine comes back out from winter storage we should try to meet up. That would give you more reason not to leave it stock when you hear and feel what yours can be with just a few mods hehe

After I bought mine I would just go for a ride. Going no were is specific just cruise it around for 5 miles or so. Its the first time I would get in a car and just cruise since I was in my teens. It does die down a little as time goes by but i still will take it out for no reason sometimes.

I do the same thing.

I kind of get excited when the wife asks me to go to the store for something. But then I have to deal with parking lots. And, as posted above, yes - the back of the parking lot is your friend.

Congrats, and tell the wife it is a mid-life crises but at least its not some 30 something year old home wrecker. Mid life crises get a bad name, I am on my second one and hope to have many many more. You just have to harness it and aim it in the right direction, cars, toys, boat, but no ho's.

Welcome and congrats, after a while the separate stress become a different stress when parked in a parking lot, you'll end up wanting to go check the car to make sure no body opened their door into your car. You'll be parked as far away as possible with no one near you and come out of the store or work to see a ding in your door or rear quarter. OK I had 2 of them fixed this fall to the tune of $140.00 but they did a nice job.
