Pretty close to where we are financially now. Likely why they stop us for such minor issues. If they really need a front plate to identify my car in this small town then there are really bigger problems to be dealt with here, eh?

I'd be so nterested to know if anyone in New Jersey runs w/o a front plate. You'd never last in my area. One town, Burlington, has regular cones and cops checking inspection stickers. That's at least a quarterly thing

I've gotten pulled over more times than I want to admit since owning this car. Bought May 2016, pulled over 10+ times since, literally 10x more than ever before!! Never had my front plate on, not one single time has the cop mentioned it. Got one ticket out of it, and beat it in court cause the cop got ever single piece of info wrong(possibly on purpose, so I'd get off).

Front plate was never mentioned, not once. I do keep it in my trunk, JIC.

I've been pulled over twice in IL for no front plate. Both times was a warning and I think the officer just wanted an excuse to pull me over and run my license.

I did get a ticket at O'hare once. Cops roll through the airport parking lots looking for cars with no front plate. I have found success parking in a spot where the front of the car is up against a wall in the garage and they don't ticket that.

I decided that I didn't want to deal with that, so I bought the ZL1 addons tow hook and plate mount.
