WTB - Chrome interior door handle

I would have never thought GM would be so picky. This was an issue earliest this year and we didn't submit the request because I didn't want to be without my car as the Corvette was getting repaired and I didn't want to be down 2 sports cars. LOL Now here we are 3 months later and they are not taking the claim. My Service guy is trying to get them to bend since I have 5 GM vehicles but who knows. As a backup I am hoping someone has a junk door panel and willing to sell just the handle. Rest of my door panel is perfect.

Why wouldn’t they take the claim? If you’re within warranty they would have to right?

But I don’t think you’ll find anyone with this sadly, they either plastic welded or riveted it to the panel so no ones ever taken them off or put a new one on. There’s part numbers that seem to be the entire housing that includes the door lock buttons;

84005969 - Left
84005971 - Right

Best bet would be to wrap it imo

I just fell out of the 3 year warranty I suppose. It could be worse. I could have Fords around here LOL.

You could use a carbon fiber cover for the 2 handles. There are a few companies that have tons of carbon fiber stick on stuff.
