Tint question

I just received my medical exemption card for window tints. My main question I guess is how dark can I go, realistically? I'd like to go dark, but Im not sure if there are any restrictions despite a medical exemption, or if there's any lenience in the event of being pulled over.

I went 35% I believe. Its great during the day but can be a bit much at night in heavy traffic, atleast for me. Its more about personal preference. The darker you go the less you can see at night but the more heat you can keep out during the day

The legal limit here in TN is 35%. My car has a 5% tint. It all depends on how the law enforcement in your area is and if they care enough to pull you over for it. I've had my tint for about 2 months and it's crazy with cops going every direction. Especially at night, so I'm guessing it's not worth it to them. Just know you will have trouble backing up at night unless your windows are down

I would check with my local DMV in regards to the medical waiver; then go with as dark as you comfortable with visibility-wise and your driving habits (day -vs- night)

I have 35% on mine. Not too dark that I've been stopped for it.

I like my windows just the way they are. When I move to Florida I'll get them done.

IMO if you want to see at night, don't go darker than 25%. Its about the same as factory tint on the back of most minivans and suvs.

5% on sides and rear, 35% on windshield. 100% not legal in all 50 states. But it helps out when it's 110-115 degrees in the summer.

So you have been declared legally blind but still have a license to drive as long as you can't see out the windows.

That makes sense from what I have seen around here.

How about you get permit for medical marijuana and a CDL?

Carry on.
