A little experiment

My wife's been driving the same car since 2004. I told her she could take the camaro for a few days on her trip. I'll be curious what she thinks about going from a 200hp suv to 400+ car.

I bet she gets better mpgs than my 17.5 avg.

It's nice weather down here. Think I'll survive with the Harley for a few...

Actually wish I could get my wife to drive the Camaro. We were talking about why she never wants to drive it, and she said it's just too "rough and aggressive" which surprised me a little. She's been in all the cars in my sig line, and claims the Corvettes were more "civilized" (referring to the NPP switch). Well, I told her, "it's only gonna get worse when the warranty is up...."

Just wondering how the conversation would go if the wife was beside them.

when my wife drives a car she leaves papers, wrappers and crap in it,never washes it,etc.even the 67 mustang i built for her had to be shovelled out every weekend.now she drives a nissan, and i wash it and shovel it out when i feel like it,but i dont stress over it.i realise im an overly meticulous person with my cars, but its a form of OCD and not treatable.its not a male only thing,i just know how she treats cars.

My wife can drive any of our vehicles any time she wants and I encourage her to do so all the time. However in 10 years of owning our Corvette she has only driven it once and that was shortly after buying it. She hasn't driven the Camaro at all in the 3.5 years we've owned it. Both are by her choice, she says she has no interest in driving them, but loves riding in them.

Wife hasn't drove any of my cars for 28 years. Too nervous something could go wrong.

I've never had a problem with the wife driving my cars. She refuses to drive stick so the t/A and vette were out. She never once asked to drive the g8. I bought this car in auto so we'd have a backup as I was tired of paying for 5 vehicles. I'm legitimately curious if this trip will change anything for her. She knows I'm a car junkie

Its funny my wife last drove the Camaro was before the agressive trans ... gears...stall and drag radials. I was in the passenger seat the other day with her driving.....she really doesnt know much or care what mods are done to the car. And of course I kept quiet to watch her reaction. Jesus christ was her first response. Then holy shit this thing moves. After that nobody passed us and everyone wanted to race according to her. That was funny wished I recorded it.

Our Camaro is my wife's DD. While it's a V6/A6, she had no problems handling a Challenger RT Scat Pack a we rented a couple years ago; 485 hp 6M. Used the same car to teach my 24 year old daughter to drive a manual; she had no problems either. The both loved the power and the manual.
