I'm with you 110%. I think the manual vs auto is a bit played out. Everyone has their preferences. I use to love manuals before I learned what turbos where then it became all about the auto.

Couple that with the fact that I can't drive stick anymore due to knee issues so I'm glad companies are finally building the fun cars with an auto. Really wish that GM would have sold the 1LE in the 2SS package with and auto in 2017 but oh well. Guess I'll just have to live with my 50th Anniversary

I watched it before it was posted and after it was posted and several times again. I can never get tired of the sound. In fact, I am fixin' to go make the sound myself on the way to work

Manual is NASCAR & Automatic is Indy 500. You are either a NASCAR guy or Indy 500 guy

I like a manual better as I feel as one with the car and the road more. I was weaned on Chevy truck manuals and V8's. I almost bought the A10 and was scouring the countryside close to DFW and none to be had. Now I am glad I got the manual. All my sports cars have been manuals back to 1980.

M6 all the way! But in the long run no matter what you choose.......................all ZL1's RULE!!!

Hopefully you are joking but for those who might see the A10 "destroying" the manual do the math. The A10 in this test is 0.28 seconds quicker in a lap that is 86 seconds long, roughly one and a half minutes. The A10 here is two tenths of one percent faster.

+0:00.28

What is that, a foot faster?

Wonder if Randy also played with the setup on the M6 to get that time or was he just hell bent on matching theory to reality on A10.

Automatics are taking out manuals at a Track near you. If you like manuals awesome. It's proven that the Automatic is faster. You like NASCAR kool.

I like NASCAR as do many other Americans. I had an automatic '16 Z06 for less than a year, hated the automatic. looking for a ZL1 in the next 6 mos and would not even consider an A10. this is a very personal choice. The difference in performance is so minimal that ii is not worth talking about.

Yet the track focused 1LE only comes in an M6. Good luck rationalizing all the theoretical benefits of the A10 versus the practical reality that when Chevy decided to build the ultimate track Camaro, they only made it in the M6. I find that fascinating with all the love the A10 deservedly receives from everyone who touches it.

Fact is the ZL1 for the money , destroys many 'supercars' .. Regardless if you pick an A10 or M6. It's even toppled the Z06 which would be unheard of in generations past.

Ridiculous. Why would one either have interest in NASCAR or Indy Car racing(yes it is Indy Car Series not Indy 500). Some of us enjoy Indy Car racing, NASCAR, NHRA, and many other forms of racing including local short track dirt or asphalt competition.

Typical person who enjoys NASCAR is not a Indy Fan. Do not shoot the messenger.
